I got both ad.yieldmanager.com and www.bet888.com pop-ups all the time, I have tried to read other peoples help, downloading the programs and still they pop up four windows at a time..

What I really need is someone to help me and tell me what to do right from the start to the end.

Hope someone could help:)

Hi and welcome to the forums here at G2G!

Please follow the instructions at the following link. If your problem persists then post a HijackThis log back to this link. Do not start a new topic. It is advised to post a HijackThis log even if things are better. Instructions for running HJT is at the end of the link:

Did you run MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware? If so please post the log.

Are you still having issues?

Run Panda's ActiveScan 2.0 from here and perform a full system scan.
  • Once you are on the Panda site click the "Scan your PC now" button
  • A new window will open...
  • Click the big Scan Now button
  • If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
  • It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It will take a couple minutes)
  • If you are on a slow connection it will take about 15 minuites for the scanner to load.
  • Once scan is done, click "Export to:" and a save dialogue box will open
  • Save the log someplace you can find
  • Post the Panda scan results in your next reply

OK go ahead and run the Panda scan as advised. Then after....

  • Download random's system information tool (RSIT) by random/random from here.
  • It is important that is saved to your desktop.
  • Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
  • Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
  • Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt (<<will be maximized) and info.txt (<<will be minimized)

No pop-ups so far today

Yes, this thing looks squeaky clean to me. Not sure what we did to really fix things. Let it run for a while and let me know how it's going.

Those are only cookies and should not by themselves produce pop-ups. They should also have been cleaned out with ATFCleaner. I had a feeling you'd be back with the same problem, as we didn't really do anything. Let's get a rootkit scan here.

Download Rootkit Revealer here (bottom of page):

http://www.microsoft...itRevealer.mspx

Unzip the files and run RootkitRevealer.exe.

Press the scan button. Try to leave the system idle while running.

When done select File-->Save...and post the contents of the log.
