hi i'm new here

anyways i'd like to uninstall my windows me and reinstall it so i can start fresh on comp and have no more
errors or problems too many programs and don't need and want just afraid to delete something i do need
like i have in the past. also would like to uninstall windows nt workstation for windows me. :tazz:

You can read up here on how to fdisk and format your computer so you can reinstall a fresh version of windows. The first website tells you how to fdisk the ntfs system by deleting the non-dos partition if you read whats on the pictures.

thanks for the info but it's windows me i'm installing not 98 and i have the floppy and the cd to windows me
so in that case what do i do to uninstall windows nt and install windows me. the info you gave me was for the wrong windows version. If I have me why do I have to install 9x?

I'm sorry if my message seems misleading. Installing Win ME is almost the same as installing Win 98 with only minor differences.
