I moved in with someone that has DSL. They don't want to get cable. I just got a OLD computer and will be hooking up a wireless router in the house. IS there anyone for me to hook it up to my Playstation 2 withould buying the equipment(forget the name) that cost 70 bucks?

Hey XWhiteWolfX, Welcome to G2G

Did you want to connect the PS2 wirelessly or wired?

Wirelessly, I am not aware of any way that does not involve purchasing some type of Game adapter..
Wired, depending which version of the PS2 you have, you could just run a cable from the built-in network adapter to your router.

I have the old version of the PS2.

I don't care if I have to use wires to connect it. I could always put the DSL modem in my room. Can I run a wire from the wireless router to that? Thanks for the help by the way brian.

I think netgear sold wireless game console solutions, I will look into it.
