I have recently had a few with my system which i think has been caused by spyware. firstly a search tool bar was installed which i could not uninstall, then i could not access task manager (i have now fixed this). But i cannot right click on the tool bars in IE to unlock the toolbars or change what is displayed, any solutions?

Well, its sounds like you got hit bad with malware and did not get rid of it properly.

So please read this: Read This Before Posting A Hijackthis Log (Click on the link)

That will give you steps that will help you clean up 70% of the problems yourself. Then please download "Hijackthis" and run Hijackthis with log. Save the log file here: Malware Removal - HiJackThis Logs Go Here

When you have followed all these steps. A Geeks To Go Staff Member will help you fix your problem.

Thanks spike for pointing me in the right direction, it looks like i have sorted it, I don't think i'll need to post a log!
