Problems with the video chip/motherboard are possibilities.

If you are having issues with your notebook/laptop and require assistance please start a new topic on the Hardware Forum http://www.geekstogo...nd-peripherals/

It will help if you provide the brand and model name/number of the computer, a description of the issue that you are having and any testing that you may have done already.

Hi,

I've checked all your entries but the computer I am currently trying to fix is making a constant same-pitch beeping sound with the internal speaker at the very moment I press the power button. Unlike what was said in the tutorial it does not stop at any point while the computer is still on, nor does it change its pitch. Is that something we can interpret a meaning out of please?

Regards,
