so what are you thinking at the moment are you swaying towrds staying with X2's or are you still wanting to go more towards opteron?

i did a side to side comparison with the x2 from newegg and the opteron the only thing that i noticed was different was that the X2 had a faster ht speed (2000Mhz compared to 1000Mhz for the opteron) the two chips are exactly the same speed (2.4Ghz) and are on the 90nm process
so really its up to you exept the opteron is 70 dollars more expensive.
