Can't Send/Rec'v email or access IE

I have a laptop that has recently had the motherboard replaced in it. Since this was done, Sending/Receiving Emails & using Internet Explorer has not been possible. I connect using a LAN & have do access to the network, however it's these two programs that will not work. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start looking? Thanks in advance, JB :tazz:

have you checked the settings in IE Internet options>connections? lan settings?

Just a thought.
