Computer Freezing

The bios is here (do not use the beta bios)

You will also need the Afudos BIOS update tool V2.11 to do it (find it at above page)

You might consider updating your system bios as well, also at the above)

did you pull one memory stick yet?

yea I pulled one memory stick out and it froze. When I switched memory sticks, the computer didnt freeze. But i'm worried that the computer will freeze soon.

does this mean i can't have more then 512 ram installed?

no, it means that one stick may be bad, even though it passed muster
I've had sticks of ram that test OK on ramtest,prime95 physical ram testers and still cause freezes in one any system I put it in.
If it works with just the one without freezing, contact the ram maker---most ram is guaranteed for life

ok. My Computer still freezes. I Switched the Memory sticks to see if the computer would freeze and it still does.

Then, place the bundled M/B support CD into the optical drive. Copy AFUDOS.EXE (unzipped) onto your boot disk

if you do not have the cd, download the file from the site, and place it on your boot disk (copy it)

what do i have to do with the K8N-E Deluxe BIOS that I downloaded?
