I am running on OSX Tiger. I have downloaded a program that states:
"Macintosh CPU: PowerPC based processor
OS: Mac OS 8.1 or higher. (On OSX runs under OS9 carbon) "

I am also running on an Intel processor. I have read some literature that Intel based Mac's cannot run OS9 carbon, due to compatability issues. Is this true? If it is true, then I can't run this program. If not how do I do about getting OS9 carbon?

Thanks,

Dan

If you have the Intel processor doesn't that mean you have the newest version of Apple, OSX Tiger?

If you have a PowerPC Mac G4 or G5 you may need to install the os 9 components, if you have an intel mac there is no way for you to run an os 9 app... First what app is it? I am sure there is a OSX native version or equal...

hope this helps ask any more questions you have
