I have a scanner that saves docs to a shared locationonthe network - after I scan the doc I try to open and get the following error -
osa9.exe has generqated errors and will be closed by Windows. You willneed to restart the program
An error log is being created.

Word operates fine withthis exception - did not find a applicable Knowledge Base article. Does anyone have any suggestions other than a repairt of Office - if that would work???

Lesson learned - sometimes you have to watch your users repeat their every step leading up to their error - which I did not.....

It seems they were trying to open a TIF file using the outlook shortcut bar which would lead to an osa9.exe error........

File opens fine not using the Offcie Shortcut Bar.
