You need to burn it to a DVD rather than a CD it wont fit on a CD thats why it says its a DVD iso in the file name and in the MS instructions you should have read before you installed, you also need to burn it very slowly.

i understand what your saying warriorscot. But I didnt understand what wannabe1 told me about being able to fit a 2.5GB iso into a CD-R which contains 700MB

Just a mistake in the wording when you talk of burning windows you usually think of a CD rather than a dvd like vista needs.
