At the end of this:cick Optimize and Improve to run Reg Defrag, I had a window pop up:
TRegistryHive.UseNewFile:Initalization of Registry Defrag helper Failure

???? any suggestions or just continue.BTW I rebooted and the items are still there..

Hi maradei...

Let's look at a couple things. Right click on the desktop and choose "Properties". Click the "Desktop" tab and look in the list for your wallpapers. Are they listed?

Then click on the "Customize Desktop..." button. Click on the "Web" tab. Are the images listed in the box labeled "Web Pages:"?

you are a genius....that did it thanks..soooo much it was bugging the %$!%# out of me!BTW That "tune up "process I did helped my computer un alot faster.
