keyboard problems hp4900 pavilion

I just bought this laptop yesterday and today I was typing in a Word2003 Trial Edition that came with the laptop and my keyboard began acting up. The shift key would insert spaces (lots of them) as well as capitalizing normally, and the Z key would only print a capital Z. All the other keys worked normally. I restarted and now the problem is gone. Should I be worried?

I just noticed that after reboot my right shift key prints capital Z's instead of capitalizing. I'm beginning to think I should contact the store, although I hate to have to deal with their tech support. Fortunately it's a local store. I would still appreciate any knowlege anyone has of similar problems.
