Use Super Encoder to convert the AVI file

Set it like this

Then try burning to a disc, preferably an RW one

You can either transcode the clips or the 600MB at once, though it will take a while and the file will be large

Check you have the correct frame rates for your region and also the aspect ratio

lol-how can you even use Super encoder? It is really frustrating to use, I cannot even get the full page to display on the screen because it is so big, there are no option to begin encoding by pressing right click...just really not an overall very good program.
Do you think that I should send a HiJack this logfile as it may list something that I may need to delete?

Maybe the OEM version will run better

The file you sent had already been through Nero so i wasn't able to check for problems with getting it from AVI to MPEG

i have tried every version of Nero possible and i am still not able to get it to work.

ok Keith I have posted a logfile in the malware section- I was also able to split the avi file using the Avi splitter program- so I will email u the avi file.

no Keith sorry... I cannot export any avi files on Nero. I did not export that file that I sent you I only split it using Avi spliter.

This is with Nero 7.2.7.0

Clicking start smart, make movie, add video files then burn to disc

I ran it through Video Repairer then transcoded both, both burned to disc and play

Have you got an RW discs?

If you have any RW disc then try this, it watermarks the output as a trial, but will show if it is burning using any programme, or just using Nero

It's only a 6.8 MB download and it may also install things which will help Nero

Did you look at installing ASPI for windows from the adaptec site
