Get a typewriter and a telephone, or use Linux. With all of the "problems" we think we have with Windows, it's still the neatest thing since sliced bread.

Okay, okay. In that case, a bot should be created to post a reply to every thread created saying:


“The problem is not the problem; the problem is your attitude about the problem”

Thus solving any 'problem' users ever have about Windows :whistling:

I don't think that was Johanna's point. I believe she means that despite its known issues, Microsoft has still changed the way we do things. PCs are an important part of daily life for almost everyone, and much of that is because of what Microsoft did to revolutionize operating systems. This is not a defense of Microsoft - they have their problems. However, would you have been able to log on to this forum and post this message without Microsoft? And if you follow these forums carefully, you'll see that we have many helpers who respond with thoughtful and careful advice to problems with Windows OS and applications.
