Is there any way you can retrieve your last used background from firefox?

If you mean the 'skin', if it's not listed in your skins menu you will have to download it again from the Firefox skins web page as far as I know. The Firefox website has it's own help forum. You are more likely to get a more knowledgeable reply from them since they all use it, whereas that's not the case on GeeksToGo.
