I AM SUPOSE TO BE A PUTER EXPERT I AM TAKING PC REPAIR AS WE MESSASE BOARD BUT I HAVEN'T SEEN A PROBLEM LIKE MINE EVER.
MY CD ROM IS NOT THERE ANYMORE AND I HAVE ALOT OF PROBLEMS BESIDES THAT i NEED TO UPDATE DRIVERS IT'S LIKE MY PUTER WENT BACK INTO THE 60'S OR SOMETHING. I CAN'T UPDATE FROM WINDOWS CAUSE EXPLORER HAS CORUPT FILES MY CD ROM DOES NOT WORK ALL I HAVE IS FLOPPY TO GET ME THROUGH AND I DON'T KNOW ALL THE COMMANDS OR IF THAT CAN HELP AT ALL I AM IN DIRE NEED FOR HELP PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME I FEEL LIKE AM IDIOT ESPECIALLY THAT I AM TAKINKINK COURSES AND PAYING A PRETTY PENNY FOR IT AND I HAVE TO COME HERE FOR HELP. I FEEL LIKE A FAILURE !!!!! I NEED U PLEASE,PLEASE HELP

We'll help you. You might even learn something too <_< If you've been unable to run Windows Update there's a very high chance you have spyware on your system that could be causing much of your problems.

Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.

forget all that just reformat it and re install windows.
