What an amazing deal. This would be like winning a million dollars to me.

I may eventually upgrade to Vista on my current machine...after everything settles down. I like to wait until the "bed-down" period is over before I install new software on my computer.

This laptop would be a way for me keep up to date with some programs that I use all the time.

I will not be moving to Windows Vista as I despise the inbuilt DRM c**p in the OS (also don't like the interface).

I am currently using XP-64 on both my desktop and laptop (Acer Aspire 5024WLMi) and find it to be extremely stable. As such I intend to purchase another copy once sp2 is released for use on my next PC.
