Well the device errs when I try to disable, so I'll just have to leave it as it is and select the new card in sound and audio properties from control panel? Thanks for looking into it anyway :whistling:

You are trying to disable the sound in the BIOS, right?

Well I did, but then it's not there for me to work with when I boot up, and the problem was the same when I enabled it again. Would I be able to update with it disabled in the bios?
