Two options, and broadband / cable is best for either

Have a look at Open Office here, click any office component icon for details

Then look at Sun Star Office, ignore the reference to time limited demo

just looked with the check boxs i can see office there but it says its 0.0kb in size ???

Can you post what you open to prompt the error message and exactly what the error message is please

it happens when i try and double click on internet explorer on desk top and if i open email up (incremail) it pops up if i try and open word up its says windows installer preparing to install in a grey box with a pix of a disk and a monitor :whistling: and i keep having to cancel it it can pop up about 3 times on trying to open email

1. On the Start menu, click Run:.

2. In the Open box, type msiexec /unreg and then press ENTER.

3. On the Start menu, click Run.

4. In the Open box, type msiexec /regserver and then press ENTER.

If it is still the same, do 1 and 2 only then try incredimail or IE
