[EDIT] i have vista installed but i have no sound it sayed that i need to install my speakers but how can i do that there just plug and play i thault

copy the hard drive and paste into the external drive. You wont be able to keep your programs if you clean install Vista. Please dont PM people as it wont get people to reply quicker! we will get to you if you just be paient

eh sorry my bad were i come from (meaning a diff forum) we do that because there are like 2000 mems there at any one time and to many reply lol sorry ill try and remember oh and btw cleen install just saves all your things and old xp in a file called windows.old lol thanks anyway

Download the drivers? It doesnt save everything in a Windows.old file as if you fill the hard drive how are you suppose to install a different OS?

weard i have all my files in windows.old? and i did a clean install and yeh i needed new drivers so i had to get a new sound card lol
