finding out which bit version

here are my stats/specs

windows vista home basic
gateway mt3705

is thera another way to find out which bit version do i have... i forgot how exactly or where i had to go to find out which one i had. I wanna upgrade my bios and i want to make sure i am getting the correct version.

Your BIOS makes no difference as to the version of Vista you run.
You can find it by right-clicking My Computer on the Start Menu and selecting Properties. The window that comes up states 32-bit or 64-bit.
