I am new to this forum. I have had a problem with my PC for a while now. I tried some things but I don't know what I have to do to solve the problem. Can someone help me with this?

Everytime I start my PC I get this message:


Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime error

Program: C:\Program files\HP\hpcoretech\comp\hptskmgr.exe


What can I do to solve this?

This is often due to a spyware program called COMMON.NAME

Consider a post on the MALWARE forum

If that does not fix it, and you have MS office, reinstalling/repairing it can fix the problem by reinstalling the C++ files
