I have a problem with outlook when a certain user sends an excell document called book2.xls in the email then the document wont open and u cant save as. When you try it says that there may be a problem with the security of the file. The file has no security or special ownership.
If the same file is sent in different name (any other name) then it will open. So there is a way to get around the problem but I'm looking to solve it.
The computer (laptop) has WinXp and Office XP installed on it.

Any help will b appreciated.

I opened the document on a different computer. The email account was defined as imap and opened fine. This computer is winXP and Office 2003.
So I guess it is a local problem.
