Video TS files On DVD

When I decrypt my DVDs onto my computer it gives me a folder with video ts and audio ts files and my converter will burn them to DVD...but...it makes a start point for every section, advertisements...blank spots...etc...which makes it difficult when putting several movies onto one DVD, I end up with like 4 menu pages just to list 2-3 movies. How can I get just one start point per movie?
Should I convert to another form? If so...what works well? I have downloaded AutoGT, does it work well?
