nothing uninstalls...

I seriously need help.
None of my programs will uninstall. When im in the remove programs list, I cannot uninstall any programs when i click uninstall or double click them.
also if i try to delete some files, they say that I need permission to continue and Im the admin. can i fix this?

Try turning off UAC.

I turned off UAC, still I cannot uninstall items from the Programs and Features; I also tried running some of the items in the folder of the program I want to uninstall and tried deleting it from the programs folder in C: as well; still no luck...can some help please?

I'm having the same problem trying to uninstall roxio 9. I've tried everything also. Sumone please help? Is the registry the answer?
