Ok wow finally back into Vista again. So i was struggling to figure out how to get back into vista forever, i reinstalled xp a million times, i deleted the partition, created a new one, tried to install it on that, didnt work, nothing was working. Then finally i thought of linux and knew you could dual boot with it. So i downloaded ubuntu which luckily came with a GRUB bootloader, i installed ubuntu, and finally the bootloader came up, i chose vista, and it worked... i thought. it brought up the system recovery program and it was all i could do, it started automatically. It told me i needed to restore the computer back to factory settings. not wanting to do that with all my music i decided to hold back on that and look at the other options. thank god i ran a start up recovery tool in the recovery program, it ran, i rebooted, and when i selected vista this time instead of taking me to system recovery it also had windows vista (recovered). I ran that and thank god i still have all my files!!! i still have to select vista in the bootloader everytime i reboot but i dont care i so glad i got my [bleep] back. this sucks... i guess my computer just didnt have the right drivers or hardware or something for XP, and it sucked big time. o well, im happy. now does anyone know how to remove those other partitions and make it so i boot right into windows.
