32bit or 64bit

hey guys, how do i know if my laptop is 32bit or 64bit? it is a HP dv6450us model runs on home premium. also let say if i do run on a 64bit, can i run any programs with 32bits?

I do know how to check (asuming your using vista). In the start menu go to welcome center and click view computer details. It will say under system type.
