Mozilla will not address 80 percent of bugs discovered in the Firefox 3.0 beta before the final version is released.

Details...

Why on earth?! Is Mozilla the next Microsoft?

I'm sure it isn't, but very strange that they are doing this. Of course, these are not critical bugs and will be fixed down the line. Imagine they do not want to delay the release. I am using version 2.0.0.10 and Beta 3 side by side. Noticed all my extensions are now working in the new Beta version.

As long as they are fixed for the final release. After all, it is a beta version... However it would make sense to fix them all, then release beta 2 and see if any more problems come up. Isn't that how they usually do it?
