Hello All!

I have an AverMedia 771 DVB-T TV Card (http://www.avermedia...D=4710710670719)

I also have Vista Home Premium and want to use that digital TV card with Media Center, it is saying "No TV card detected".

I have been to the AverMedia website, where the card (which is discontinued) has XP only drivers, and nothing else, I have tried using this but to no success.

No granted he card didn't cost me anything, but I would like to make it work, does anyone know a way to make MC detect this card? thanks :)

The drivers for this card are supplied by the manufacturer. Since AverMedia did not make Vista-compatible drivers for it, and it's drivers are no longer being updated to support Vista, I'm afraid it can only be used with XP. Many Vista users have found themselves having to buy new hardware because of this situation where older hardware they have is no longer being updated with new drivers.

Here is a suggestion. Try pulling the card and taking a look at the chipset used. It may be that other manufactures have used the same chipset but have continued support for their product.

Might work as a work-around so you don't have to buy a new card.
