How To get my files back administrator help

I looked at your site on someone elses question about not having adminstrator authority and followed it.  That works but now I cant figure out how to get back all of my old settings on my profile, pics, my interbnet settings, etc.  please help.

You had a user account that you used, and now your logged in as admin.

Did you try logging out and logging back into the original user account you had?

yes i did i will try to restart the computer see if that helps
