I've seen Rise Against in concert either 3 or 4 times, the most recently at the end of April on their tour for this CD. I think they're an incredible band. Did you know the lead singer has two different color eyes?EndGame - Rise Against

They dropped off the face of the earth for a while after their earlier success, but they just finished a tour opening for All Time Low - the last stop was near me on May 8, and I was there. I was glad to see them back. My daughter was down on the floor near the stage, and she caught the drummer's drum stick when he threw it out in the audience after their set. It made her day.Yellowcard - When your'e through thinking, say yes

The song itself is about the Irish Rising of 1916, and was originally written by Peadar Kearney.
This version is by a Dutch band called Omnia - they classify themselves as a "PaganFolk" band - a lot of their songs are inspired by various Pagan religions, while they also perform some covers of both Celtic folktracks, and other tracks, like "Hurt" from Nine Inch Nails, and they have taken well-known poetree by Edgar Allen Poe and William Shakespear and have put it to music.
