Can a dream process launch, while running, another dream process as child, and that dream process launch another dream process, and so on, letting you navigate within this dream tree, possibly skipping the main 'waking' process, possibly extending the dream period ad infinitum? If so, what would be the meaning of accidental re-emergence into wakefulness? would it not be perceived as just another dream?
