Cursor problem

Hi, I have a small problem with my cursor, Vista of course. For some unknown reason to me my cursor no longer spins when loading a web page or a application. This has only started happening today and I have no idea why this is happen. Its not a big problem but very curious to why. I've heard alot about Vista and it's security regarding its animated cursor so my first thought was to ask the pro's

Vista basic
siemans scaleo desk top
sapphire ATI X1650 pro 512mb
