ive had my gamecube in my closet in a plastic container for about a couple of months now. So when i went to play a game it would not read the disk. I have cleaned the disks. Is the gamecube dead or is there a fix?

Most likely the laser is a bit dusty. Look up something on cleaning Gamecube lasers i.e.

If that doesn't work it's probably dead...
