When I've had octopus it's been rubbery and rather tasteless. Usually something I eat with sushi on a dare. :)

After grilling all weeekend and eating well, the last thing I ate was McDonald's Filet of Fish. :)

i'm a big fan of octopus....it's got a good flavor (the only mollusks i'll eat are of the cephalopod variety....none of those nasty bivalves for me)....the family used to go to oregon for a week during the summer and once trip we took a drive to the coast (the seal rock region) and we had smoked octopus...it was great...they were the tentacles smoked like jerky...about an inch or so thick...very tasty

We had grilled baby octopus in Australia, and it was quite good. Normally I'm not a big fan of either squid or octopus, but it depends on how it's cooked.
