hi,

whenever i open my yahoo messenger, within a few seconds yahoo automatically shuts down with an error message saying "ypager.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows" i don't know what to do. i have installed various versions of yahoo and it still doesn't work. please help.

the frequency with which this problem keeps presenting itself leads me to believe that it is a windows update.

If you're up to it, go to add/remove control panel and remove updates in reverse order of install until it works...I would be very interested.

I'm using Yahoo messenger with a Windows 98SE operating system and mine crashes when I start Yahoo Instant messenger. I receive a "Ypager caused an exception 03h in module wsock32.dll at 017ffal14ae" Then it displays a illegal operation with Ypager.
Help!
