Yes, clicking it changes the colour! And it's really easy, if you want to "cheat":

Simply right-click, and the context-menu will appear, freezing the ball. Move the mouse to the ball, then double-click (really fast). The first click will close the menu, the second click gets the ball.

Done and done.

Boy you liked doing that the hard way Troy huh... Hold the left click, then hold the tab button, then let go of the left click. As long as you hold the tab you can click enter to your heart's content.
