I will not go buy another copy of this game. What good will that do? I need to find out what caused the issue in the first place.

I'm using an ASUS Catalyst 8.5 Driver, But i was using the Official 8.7 before that. ATI Radeon HD3870 , i also recently put this card in, But i did a complete cat-uninstall before i switched...
I've yet to find a solution as well...but when and if i do...I'll blog about it

The guy answered is Adam Dunahoe.
The response is this:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Note #2: I would like a list of your running processes. To get them do this:
1. Start the game, minimize it.
2. Click "Start" => "Run" => type "cmd"
3. Type "tasklist /SVC > tasks.txt"
This procedure will create a text file with a list of your current processes. The text file can be found at"C:/Documents and Settings/[your user]/tasks.txt".
Paste the contents in a new note (you may need to split it in two or more notes)."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That response doesn't look to me like they accept the problem as a Punkbuster malfunction...
The directions they gave me is just for troubleshooting the issue like i am the only one having it

I'll give them the information later today and wait to see what happens...
P.S. Guys, strange thing is that I AM ABLE to play on one PB Enabled server without getting kicked

Would you like to try yourself and tell me if you are able too?
Might lead us somewhere...
The server IP is:
83.174.133.49:28960
It is PB Enabled (or at least that is what game-monitor.com tells me).

No explanation but in response to a letter I wrote yesterday.
"You should not be banned, and you should find that you are not receiving this kick at this time."
I don't know what the issue was or if you all are fixed.
I surely hope so.
I've checked and I'm working again. Good luck all.

AH,, IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY old key works in my clan's sever and another! YEE HAW! IT feels so good to kill familiar names and faces again while using my original key, once again validating the fact that I have never used cheats. IT WASN'T in OUR COMPUTERS AND WAS THEIR ERROR. OH so good, but now I have to go to work

I am using a config file called yitch3.cfg which helps give a FPS boost to aging systems and admitted that to Evenbalance because I'm trying to determine why the banned was initiated in the first place.
There response was
"The restriction kick given was intentional, but it has been removed at this time for further evaluation."
So I don't know. Can a config file cause a ban? Its the only thing I've changed in the months up to the ban.

Since we don't ban for CVAR's no. But any server running our public configs (3000+) will kick them for out of bounds cvars most likely and for good reason. The details removed with these configs do cause an unfair advantage in some cases.
From EvenBalance:
We appreciate you sending this in. However, these are dvar values that
can easily be checked by the server. The article even addresses this.
It is completely at the discretion of the server admin on whether to
allow these values to be set to this low level
So it will not cause you to be banned. It can cause you to be kicked from an individual server based on that server admins config choices. It should not have anything to do with the driver disallowed issue.
