I am running Windows XP Service Pack 3. When I boot my PC, the welcome screen comes up but there are no user names next to it. I log in by doing ctrl+alt+del and entering the username and p/w. If I go to the control panel ---> user accounts, I get the error message "The current user account is not recogniozed. Restart the computer and then open user accounts". I have followed all the steps listed in the forum for removing malware and the problem persists.
