Connecting Laptop to TV

Hi there,
I have a Toshiba Satellite A205 and wanted to connect it to my LCD TV.
The Laptop has a standard VGA connection and an S-video connection. The Tv has VGA, HDMI, S video connections.

I was thinking a simple VGA cable would do the trick but am not completely sure. Would this be the best way - or is there a better way?

Any advice appreciated,
