Hi,

I need to reinstall Vista (Home Premium, 32-bit), but this will wipe out my C: drive. Unfortunately, I cannot even boot into Windows to get to the files I need to backup! Is there any way of accessing these files before I reinstall? Maybe via the startup utility?

There is a command prompt on the Vista DVD/Startup Repair thing, but it starts in X: drive and I don't think I can access C: from here?

Thanks
-Andy

Using another computer, download the Vista Recovery Disc:
