i found this website searching for help for another laptop. after following the steps on the malware removal forum rules on the laptop i thought was operating fine, the programs i've downloaded (malwarebytes, avast) found all kinds of things on it. i went though and let them get rid of the potential dangers but i'm still uncertain if this computer is clean. it operates fine but it did before the scans. how do i know there's not an underlying virus wondering around b/c i sure was unaware of the things those scans found. i went ahead and did a hijack this report but i have no idea what i'm looking at or what to look for. i'm not going to waste anybodies time by posting now, but any help will be much appreciated. i want to make sure that this computer is up to par before attempting to repair the one i'm actually having probs. with. thanks again.
