Need help with call of duty 2 - PC!

I've had this game for a while now and it kept coming up with that "unpure .pk3 file" alot so I uninstalled it. When I went back to install it, it would freeze when I hit the button "INSTALL" but the cursor was having the loading thing on it as if it were going to eventually open up but would actually just sit there like that till I brang up the task manager to end it. Then sometimes it would pop up with something saying that something wasn't running correctly but I can't remember what it is and that window hasn't popped up for a while now. Please help me!!!
