Please do the following while you are on the screen that you have explained:

- Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to launch task manager
- If you have to, click the Start Task Manager button. Then, while in task manager, please click File>New Task
- In the field, please enter Explorer.exe and press OK.

What did that do? Please reply back with the results of attempting to start Windows Explorer!
