Hello,

for the past week my computer has been getting many pop-ups. THese include:

"malicious code found at 0x17DA839A."-this comes up evrytime i turn on my computer.
"Cisv.exe has stopped working"
also something about a program performing an illegal action
-this are errors

pop-ups are:

"Services.exe has stopped working."

"Your computer may be at risk.
Antivirus software might not be installed
Click this balloon to fix the problem."

"Tracking Process Activated.
*** ADDRESS: 0x17DA839A ***
Cannot deactivate spyware program.
Click this balloon to fix the problem."

The pop-ups come from the task bar in a little red shield. It looks just like the one from windows but i'm pretty sure that it isn't because when i try to exit out of it with the little yellow x on the pop-up it doesnt light up. Its more like a link. If i click it, it tries to download a program called xp-shield.

I have windows XP. My internet connection is fine and running as usual. It's not that slow. I have Windows Live One Care and have ran a full computer scan that takes about 3-4 hours. It doesn't find anything. i have scanned it just about everyday this past week, but nothing.

I would really appreciate some help.
FYI- my knowledege of computer terms and such is not very big. please have patience.

P.s. I just got another window.

it said " services.exe has stopped working.
a problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
click ok to fix the problem"

i exited out, and once again it tried to download xp-shield. i put cancel.
