my cart monitor died on saturday while i was burning a dvd, after the screen died i sucessfully burned my dvd and with out a screen had to shut down my computer by pressing and holding the button on the front a few seconds, tuesday i got a new lce monitor and hooked it up works fine from what i've seen, anyways when i started my computer it got to the windows xp load up screen the windows xp logo and the bar that goes across
but did not load i got a black screen that offered the different ways to start the computer because windows was not shut down right like start in safe mode start in the last known good connection,no matter what you choose i got a blue screen that says hardware/system error my computer is being looked at by a shop to hopefully fix the problem.can anyone tell me what most likely caused this to happen windows system error is what i think but not sure.

any help
thanks a lot
