Hi guys - new to the forum! Have been a long time lurker, just signed up now as I'm really desperate for some help with this. So really hope some of you can give me a hand.

Basically I'm doing an assignment at Uni and I've been asked to write about where and how data formats are used within a control system. After many hours searching the net, there really isn't anything specifically relating to what I'm looking for.

So anything you can think of? I need examples of control systems where binary, hexadecimal, floating point, BCD, ASCII, Unicode, and Logical Operators are used.

Any help WHATSOEVER would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for any input.
