Hi - Does anyone have any suggestions to ejecting a CD, other than holding down the touch pad as the machine reboots? I have a Mac OS X 10.3.9 Panther.

Thanks!

Trentdw is correct on his suggestion.
Normally every cdrom drive will have a small hole in the front of it on the drive tray.
This hole is the manual release switch for the drive tray.
Insert a paper clip and push. The drive should pop open a little. You will have to manually pull the tray open the rest of the way.
From that point shut the drive up (Hopefully after taking cd out of it) and try opening and closing the drive normally.
Does it work now?
