WHEN I START MY DISK DEFRAGMENTOR....IT GOES A LIL BIT AND THEN MY COMP JUST SHUTS OFF....CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY? TY....DEBBIE

Note the time, reboot the computer

at start up...

start > run
eventvwr.msc
<enter>

Look under systems and applications for items with red Xs...list them here.
